Ironwall Engraving collects and uses information needed to operate our online storefront, process orders, create custom products, provide support, ship orders, prevent fraud, improve the website, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and security obligations.

This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through the Ironwall Engraving website, online store, contact forms, checkout, custom order communications, support emails, and related business operations.

It does not apply to third-party websites or services that we do not control. Third-party services, such as Stripe, USPS, Shippo, Auth0, hosting providers, email providers, analytics providers, and other tools, may have their own privacy policies.

INFORMATION WE DO NOT INTENTIONALLY COLLECT

Do not submit sensitive personal information unless we specifically request it and it is necessary for the order. This includes Social Security numbers, government ID numbers, medical information, financial account numbers, passwords, private documents, or confidential information.

We do not intentionally collect personal information from children under 13.

PAYMENTS

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment provider we may use in the future. Card details are encrypted and handled by the payment provider. Ironwall Engraving does not store full card numbers.

We may store payment references, order totals, payment status, refund status, dispute status, fraud-review information, and related order records.

SHIPPING AND FULFILLMENT

We use shipping information to quote rates, prepare packages, buy USPS labels, send tracking updates, and resolve delivery issues.

Order and shipping information may be shared with shipping platforms, carriers, packaging providers, or other fulfillment-related service providers as needed to complete your order.

CUSTOM CONTENT AND UPLOADED FILES

Custom content may include personal information if it contains names, dates, photos, messages, logos, or other identifying details.

We use custom content to review, design, produce, fulfill, document, support, and resolve issues related to your order.

We may retain custom content and proof records as needed for support, repeat orders, legal records, fraud prevention, chargebacks, or dispute resolution. If you want custom content removed after fulfillment, contact us and we will review the request, subject to legal, tax, accounting, security, and dispute-retention needs.

We do not sell customer names or order details to data brokers.

At launch, we do not intend to sell personal information. If we add targeted advertising, retargeting pixels, cross-context behavioral advertising, or other tools that may be considered a sale or sharing of personal information under certain state privacy laws, we will update this policy and provide required choices.

MARKETING EMAILS

If we offer marketing emails, we will send them only where permitted by law. You can unsubscribe from promotional emails using the unsubscribe link or by contacting us.

Even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails, we may still send non-promotional service messages such as order confirmations, proof requests, shipping updates, refund notices, policy updates, and security messages.

DATA RETENTION

We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.

Examples:

  • Order, payment-reference, shipping, tax, accounting, refund, and dispute records may be retained for business, tax, accounting, legal, warranty, fraud-prevention, and chargeback purposes, often up to 7 years or longer if needed.
  • Support messages may be retained as needed to provide service, document issues, and resolve disputes.
  • Custom artwork and proof records may be retained as needed for production, support, repeat orders, disputes, or legal records.
  • Security logs and technical logs may be retained for a shorter or longer period depending on security, reliability, and legal needs.

We may delete files, artwork, messages, and records when they are no longer needed. Customers should keep their own copies of any artwork, files, photos, or messages they want to preserve.

We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards to protect information. These may include secure payment processing, encrypted connections, access controls, authentication tools, logging, and limited administrative access.

No website, email system, payment system, or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. If you believe your information or an order may be affected by a security issue, contact us promptly.
